CHAMPS Oncology's Lori Travers Authors Advocacy Update for NCRA

NCRA LogoUpdate Strategy Five: Advocacy, an updated report written by Lori Travers, RHIT, CTR, manager, CHAMPS Oncology, is currently featured on The National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) website. 

Lori Travers is part of NCRA’s Governance Planning and Evaluation Committee which prepares and posts reports on each of the six strategies outlined in NCRA’s Strategic Management Plan (2012-2014).

NCRA is a not-for-profit association representing cancer registry professionals and Certified Tumor Registrars (CTR). Its primary focus is education and certification with the goal to ensure all cancer registry professionals have the required knowledge to be superior in their field. Worldwide, there are more than 5,000 NCRA members and CTRs.

Lori Travers formerly served on the NCRA board of directors as the advocacy and technical practice director for the western region. She has also served on a number of NCRA committees.
