Journal of Registry Management Publishes Casefinding Article by CHAMPS Oncology

Journal of Registry ManagementCHAMPS Oncology is pleased to reveal its featured article “An Easier Way to Manage Casefinding” in NCRA’s Journal of Registry Management – Spring 2017 Issue. Casefinding is the systematic process of reviewing source materials and identifying all cases of the disease that are eligible for inclusion in the cancer registry database.

In the Journal of Registry Management article, the CHAMPS Oncology team explains the “Current Status Report” tool they developed for organizing, monitoring, and managing the casefinding process. This Status Report helps CHAMPS not only ensure cases are not being missed; it has also allows them to accurately track and measure the volume of work being completed, adequately staff for casefinding volumes, drastically improve efficiencies within the case identification process, and seamlessly work together as a team.
