The Center's Emergency Preparedness Partners

The Center for Health Affairs’ emergency preparedness partners help the Northeast Ohio region prepare for and alleviate natural and man-made disasters. Its emergency preparedness partners include hospitals, public health departments, emergency medical services, emergency management agencies, law enforcement, as well as other local, state and federal groups.

  • Cuyahoga Emergency Communication System
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • Hospice of the Western Reserve
  • Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center
  • Medical Examiner’s Office
  • Northeast Ohio Hospital Workgroup, which is comprised of primary contacts from 27 acute-care hospitals, public health departments, federally qualified health centers, emergency management agencies, rehabilitation hospitals, Academy of Medicine and American Red Cross representatives
  • Northeast Ohio Regional Medical Response System Healthcare Coalition
  • Regional American Red Cross
  • Regional County Emergency Management Agencies
  • Regional Public Health Coordinator and Health Departments
  • Regional Public Safety Group Coordinators (EMS, Fire, Law Enforcement, FBI, Coast Guard)
