Moore Quoted on Retirement Healthcare Needs in Cleveland Jewish News

Cleveland Jewish NewsOn Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, The Center for Health Affairs' Vice President of Corporate Communications Deanna Moore was quoted in a Cleveland Jewish News piece on retirement healthcare needs by Jonah Rosenblum. 

In the Cleveland Jewish News piece, "Ready to retire? Make sure your nest egg will go the distance," Moore commented on the range in healthcare needs for retirees. "Health care needs can range from $150,000 to $300,000, depending on what study you look at," said Moore. "Nearly 70 percent of people will need long-term care at some point...Those thinking of retirement should remember that Medicare does not mean free healthcare. They will still have premiums, deductibles and co-pays, as well as any non-covered healthcare expenses like dental care or hearing aids."
