There are many ways you, as an individual or family, can prepare for a natural or man-made disaster such as assembling a supply kit and developing a family communication plan. The Center's emergency preparedness experts suggest using the resources below to start developing your personal plan.  

• American Red Cross offers tips of the day, as well as preparedness resources for home, work and schools in the community. It also lists great tips on preparing for all types of disasters including floods, blackouts, winter storms and more.

• City of Cleveland provides access to volumes of information about current events within the city and available resources, including the city evacuation plan.
