Health Reform Website Offers Convenient Source of Current Information

The hundreds of provisions included in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act passed early last year have just begun to unfold. As work in the 112th Congress gets underway, many lawmakers are vowing to make changes to the health reform law. At the same time, many states, including Ohio, have engaged in lawsuits challenging the legality of the universal mandate included as a central tenet of the law. The rapidly changing environment can be difficult to keep track of, especially in light of the media deluge of related stories. The Center's health reform website continues to cut through the media clutter to provide those interested in the latest developments with a reliable source of information.

Available in the Health Policy Issues section of The Center's website, the new section includes a concise overview of health reform, links to the law itself as well as links to other useful websites, which offer even more in-depth information on health reform. Also included are a collection of selected health reform articles in a variety of categories including general information, impact on the industry, impact on consumers, and legislative and legal challenges.
