The Center for Health Affairs and its workforce initiative,NEONI, will host its 10th Annual Fall Conference, entitled Becoming Involved in Evidence-Based Practice and Research, on Friday, Oct. 28. Mary E. Kerr, PhD, RN, FAAN, the new dean of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve and the inaugural holder of the May L. Wykle Endowed Professorship in Nursing, will discuss avenues for nursing involvement in evidence-based practice and research, as well as strategies for clinical settings. During the conference, Dr. Kerr also will facilitate a panel of Northeast Ohio nurse researchers representing academia and practice.
The Oct. 28 event takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio, located at 2500 East 22nd Street, Cleveland. Click here to register.
