Save the Date for Health Literacy Event

The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS Healthcare are proud to be presenting sponsors for the 2012 Ohio Health Literacy Conference Series. These events are designed as a forum for relevant discussions providing valuable knowledge about the importance of patient health literacy to quality health care. Staff, social workers, dieticians, health care administrators, public health professionals, physicians, nurses and others are encouraged to attend and join the discussion!

Attendees can choose one of three Health Literacy 101 sessions, which will be held in downtown Cleveland on May 24, June 13 and September 13. These sessions will be followed by a full-day conference on October 26 featuring national speakers, patient testimonials, information on institutionalizing health literacy and a national action plan.
