On September 14, 2012, hospital administrators, nursing students and other interested stakeholders will have the opportunity to learn more about today’s healthcare policy environment from
Greg Moody, Director of the Office of Health Transformation, who will be the keynote speaker at
NEONI’s Legislative Forum. The event, entitled, “From Change Comes Opportunity: The Impact of Policy on the Region’s Healthcare Providers,” will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at
St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in the St. Vincent de Paul room adjacent to the cafeteria. Attendees will enjoy lunch and networking followed by speakers and a panel discussion.
In addition to Greg Moody, who will speak second, attendees will hear from Ron Dziedzicki, Chief Support Services Officer of University Hospitals Case Medical Center, who will set the stage for the day by providing background information and a description of how healthcare providers are reimbursed. The day will wrap up with a panel discussion, moderated by Bill Ryan, president & CEO of The Center for Health Affairs. Panelists will include regional experts from a wide variety of healthcare backgrounds who will describe how their organizations are responding to the changing policy environment.
