Beth Gatlin Discusses Emergency Preparedness with News Channel 5



On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, The Center for Health Affairs' Director of Emergency Preparedness Beth Gatlin was interviewed by News Channel 5 on the emergency preparedness of Northeast Ohio hospitals. In the News Channel 5 interview, Gatlin, who coordinates drills for hospitals and safety workers throughout Northeast Ohio, said, “The hospitals are ready...they have a big surge capacity, they can take mass casualties." She also encouraged Northeast Ohio residents to be prepared for the unexpected by looking out for one another.
