Bill Ryan Quoted in Plain Dealer Piece on Medicaid Expansion and the State Budget

On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, The Center for Health Affairs' President and CEO Bill Ryan was quoted in a Plain Dealer piece on Medicaid expansion and the state budget by Robert Higgs with Sarah Jane Tribble. In the piece, "House Republicans strip Medicaid expansion out of state budget proposal," Ryan comments on his experience advocating for expansion in recent months, saying, "I felt like I was talking to a 3–year old trying to get them to eat their vegetables. There is no fiscally responsible position other than to go forward [with expansion]."
