Back to all News ReleasesAugust 25, 2014 (Cleveland)NEONI Begins Fall 2014 Rollout of ACEMAPP Passport

The Center for Health Affairs and its workforce initiative, NEONI, are in the process of rolling out ACEMAPP Passport, a component of NEONI’s online nursing clinical placement and matching program which prepares students and faculty for their clinical rotations and allows schools to track compliance while sharing information with clinical sites about those assigned at their facility.
In spring 2013, NEONI completed a pilot to evaluate the ACEMAPP Passport function. Five hospitals and four colleges participated. Following the completion of the pilot, two schools became early adopters of the product. Based on feedback from pilot participants, the product was customized to meet Ohio clients’ needs.
“For years, the Cleveland area has been looking to standardize the entire process for clinical placements and onboarding,” said Sue Zagula, BSN, RN, director of placement services. “This is a huge step in that direction.”
With the roll out of ACEMAPP Passport, clients will see enhanced benefits including:
- Streamlined paperwork with standardized onboarding system
- Real-time access to compliance reports and onboarding data
- Tracking for the completion of background check, immunizations, drug testing, BLS certification and TB testing
- Integration with ACEMAPP clinical placement assignments and rosters
- Elimination of duplicate instruction of compliance courses
- Interactive learning and assessments for HIPAA, Blood Borne Pathogens, OSHA and more
ACEMAPP Passport is on track to meet its full, Cleveland-area implementation goal for fall 2014. To date, more than 4,000 students have registered to use the e-learning and certification solution for onboarding.
