Back to all News ReleasesFebruary 21, 2014 (Cleveland)The Center Develops Healthcare Pinterest Boards

As part of its social media strategy, The Center for Health Affairs is pleased to announce the official launch of its
healthcare Pinterest boards. Pinterest is a bulletin board style website that allows users to share, collect and organize images and other media content by “pinning” them on various themed boards. Following the lead of its business affiliate CHAMPS Healthcare, which launched its
healthcare-centered Pinterest page in August 2013, The Center hopes to use this new online presence to connect with others interested in health policy issues.
Initially, The Center has built 13 healthcare Pinterest boards to mirror the health policy issues section of its website. The boards include resources related to:
These resources include links specific to Northeast Ohio, as well as links relevant nationwide. Additional healthcare Pinterest boards will be created to match The Center’s initiatives moving forward and to meet the needs of Pinterest followers.
“We’re always looking for new ways to share health policy resources,” said Deanna Moore, vice president of corporate communications for The Center. “Pinterest is a perfect venue for organizing this information in a way that is easy for anyone to access, anywhere.”
The Center’s healthcare Pinterest boards are part of an ongoing effort to become more engaged with interested parties through social media. The public can also connect with The Center via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
