Open Enrollment Resources Now Available

With 2014 Marketplace open enrollment just days away, The Center for Health Affairs has put together a collection of resources from around the region to provide consumers with the information they need to get covered. Many of The Center’s member hospitals are participating in events or holding events of their own to encourage consumers to get coverage during open enrollment.

“Signing up for health coverage is really important. Not only does it provide you with access to the right type of care in the right setting at the right time, it also gives you peace of mind,” explained Bill Ryan, president and CEO of The Center. “I encourage anyone who does not already have coverage to make an investment in their own health and explore their options during open enrollment.”

There are dozens of opportunities around Northeast Ohio to sign up for coverage or ask questions during open enrollment.

Open Enrollment Launch Event

The Northeast Ohio Outreach and Enrollment Council is hosting Rock Enroll NEO on Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to kick off open enrollment activities in the region. City of Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson will welcome participants who will hear from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, physicians, consumers and health center representatives. Members of the media are welcome.
