Rita Spirko Joins NEONI’s PERQS Center as New Director

Rita Spirko, MSN, RN, was recently hired as the new director of NEONI’s Practice, Education, Research and Quality/Safety (PERQS) Center which provides unique opportunities to harness nursing excellence. In her new position, she supports and carries out all strategic plans and priorities as identified by the PERQS Center’s four divisions.

She joins the PERQS Center with 16 years of experience at the Cleveland Clinic, where she was the program manager in outreach and external partnerships in the Office of Patient Experience. Before that she was the program manager in clinical research at the Glickman Urological & Nephrology Institute. 

“As the new director of the PERQS Center, I’m excited to have the opportunity to give back to healthcare,” Spirko said. 

In her new position, Spirko is succeeding Cindy Danko, MSN, RN, who has transitioned to a new role at The Center, part-time CivicHealth project manager.
