NEONI to Celebrate Nursing Leadership at its Biennial Event



NEONINEONI will celebrate nursing leadership by recognizing Northeast Ohio’s industry leaders and supporting partners at its NEONI Nursing Excellence 2015 event on April 30 at LACENTRE Conference and Banquet Facility in Westlake, Ohio.

The Center for Health Affairs and its workforce initiative, NEONI, present this event biennially at various locations across Northeast Ohio.

The following individuals will receive nursing leadership awards at this year’s Nursing Excellence event.

  • Kimberly Dillon-Bleich, MSN, RN, CEN, The Breen School of Nursing at Ursuline College, will receive NEONI's new Rising Star Award.
  • Margaret Duffy, MS, RN, Cleveland Clinic, will receive NEONI's Community Partner Award.
  • Catherine Koppelman, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, University Hospitals, will receive NEONI's Legacy Award (practice).
  • Patricia Sharpnack, DNP, RN, CNE, NEA-BC, ANEF, The Breen School of Nursing at Ursuline College, will receive NEONI's Legacy Award (academia).
  • Jane Soposky, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, Summa Health System, will receive NEONI's Lifetime Achievement Award.

“Since NEONI was created 15 years ago, we have taken pride in planning and hosting this event every other year,” said Lisa Anderson, MSN, RN, senior vice president of Member Services, The Center for Health Affairs. “It provides an opportunity to recognize and thank those who have demonstrated or are currently demonstrating nursing leadership in our community.”
