News Releases
Back to all News ReleasesMarch 18, 2015 (Cleveland)Users Receive Data on Clinical Placements from ACEMAPP Annual Reports

To provide data on clinical placements to its users, The Center for Health Affairs and its workforce initiative, NEONI, annually generate ACEMAPP reports.
With its online nursing clinical placement and matching program, ACEMAPP streamlines and integrates the complex process of clinical education management for hospitals and nursing education programs. Throughout the 2013-2014 academic year, 28 clinical sites and 31 nursing programs used ACEMAPP to place more than 11,000 students for 1,679 clinical rotations in the 2013-2014 academic year.
Users partaking in clinical placements during fall 2014 fully implemented Passport, ACEMAPP’s component for collecting, monitoring and distributing student and faculty onboarding information.
Based on valuable feedback from NEONI’s clinical and education partners, many new improvements were made to ACEMAPP throughout the 2013-2014 academic year. Some major enhancements include:
- Standardized student onboarding guidelines went into effect Jan. 1, 2014.
- Several individuals from smaller schools and facilities joined the ACEMAPP Advisory Council.
- ACEMAPP users can now manage onboarding for students attending preceptorships.
- The ACEMAPP reporting dashboard now allows users to run reports for student requirements and assessment completion, community benefits, withdrawn rotations and customized reports of various data in ACEMAPP.
- A student tagging system has been added to ACEMAPP to help place students in rotations and to keep track of their current classes and graduation dates.
