Bill Ryan Comments on the State of Akron Health Care in Crain's Piece

On Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, The Center for Health Affairs' President and CEO Bill Ryan was quoted in a Crain's Cleveland Business piece on the state of Akron health care. 

In the piece, "A lifeline for Akron health care," Ryan commented on competition between Summa and Akron General. "From a patient perspective, what I’ve seen for a very long time was Summa had its own way in the Akron market because it was the better-heeled financial institution," said Ryan. "Now you’ve got General as a full participate of the Cleveland Clinic system … That really gives folks in Akron a legitimate choice where to get care."
