The Center for Health Affairs announced Monday the appointment of Laura Gronowski as Chief of Staff for the non-profit and its business affiliate CHAMPS Healthcare. In this role Gronowski will lead organizational transformation and oversee CHAMPS Healthcare’s three business lines, as well as The Center’s member services operations and internal operations. She will report directly to The Center’s President & CEO, Bill Ryan.
“We have a long history of growing and sustaining successful business ventures through our CHAMPS business enterprise,” said Bill Ryan. “Much of that success is due to the leadership of Laura Gronowski - an innovative leader with a client-centric vision and a proven ability to effectively collaborate and drive strong business results.”
Gronowski brings with her to the position of Chief of Staff more than 25 years of experience in healthcare purchasing and supply chain management.
“It has been an honor to serve an organization with such admirable vision, missions and goals over the past 13 years,” said Gronowski. “This has always been a place I felt encouraged to challenge myself professionally and think outside the box to grow our business. I am excited to continue on that course in my new role.”
Most recently, Gronowski served as Senior Vice President of CHAMPS Healthcare where she increased revenue, developed new opportunities and expanded the geographical sales area for the organization. Prior to joining CHAMPS in February of 2002, she worked in supply chain for several Northeast Ohio hospitals.
Laura Gronowski earned her Master of Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
