The Center’s Kirstin Craciun Elected to Serve on HIP-Cuyahoga Steering Committee



Kirstin CraciunRecently, the Health Improvement Partnership-Cuyahoga (HIP-Cuyahoga) Consortium nominated and voted to fill new standing and at-large positions of the steering committee. The Center for Health Affairs’ Kirstin Craciun, director of community outreach, was honored to be among eight individuals newly elected to serve on the steering committee. She will serve in the standing position representing the healthcare sector.

HIP-Cuyahoga strives to make Cuyahoga County a place where all residents live, work, learn, and play in safe, healthy, sustainable, and prosperous communities. Using three key approaches – collective impact, community engagement, and health and equity in all policies – HIP-Cuyahoga is building opportunities for everyone in Cuyahoga County to be healthy. More than 100 active organizations and 600 people work together to advance the goals of HIP-Cuyahoga. 

The four key issues that HIP-Cuyahoga is currently focused on are:

  • Linking clinical and public health
  • Healthy eating and active living
  • Eliminating structural racism
  • Chronic disease management
