On Friday, Dec. 16, Public Health Emergency published an article on the Republican National Convention discussing hospital emergency preparation and coordination with the Northeast Ohio Regional Health Care Coalition (HCC). The Center for Health Affairs’ ASPR Project Director Beth Gatlin led hospital preparedness efforts for the coalition and provided insight for the piece.
In the article, “Republican National Convention,” Gatlin explains how twelve years of HPP funding has allowed the region’s hospitals to proactively purchase equipment and supplies while simultaneously building strong networks and relationships. According to Gatlin, “because of the Northeast Ohio Regional HCC, we know each other and our joint capabilities.”
