Changes have been announced to The Center for Health Affairs' board, as well as to the CHAMPS Healthcare boards and the GCHA board. The CHAMPS boards govern The Center's business affiliate and the GCHA board governs the organization's nonprofit corporate entity, which houses community activities including NEONI, The Center's workforce initiative. The changes include the addition of several new trustees to account for vacancies that occurred through natural attrition as well as the addition of several C-suite hospital members to The Center for Health Affairs board. The Center is pleased to welcome the following individuals to its boards and appreciates the contributions each will make to the organization.
New Trustees, The Center for Health Affairs:
- Jonathan Archey, vice president, public relations and government affairs, Lake Health
- Edwin M. Oley, sr. vice president, Mercy Health and CEO of the Lorain Region
- William A. Young, Jr., president and CEO, Southwest General Health Center
New Trustees, CHAMPS Healthcare:
- Ralph Dise, president, Dise & Company
- Robert Idoine, chief information officer, Redwood Living
New Trustee, GCHA:
- Beverly Lozar, BSN, MPA, chief operating officer/chief nursing officer, St. Vincent Charity Medical Center
In addition to the new trustees appointed to the boards of The Center for Health Affairs, the HealthComp Foundation, which was established for the purpose of healthcare grantmaking in 2016 after a donation made by CHAMPS Healthcare, selected and approved its first slate of board members.

- Heidi Gullett, M.D., (chairperson) assistant professor, Case Western Reserve University
- Phil Mazanec, (treasurer) chief operating officer, The Center for Health Affairs
- Laura Gronowski, (secretary) chief of staff, The Center for Health Affairs
- Benjamin Frank, system executive director of clinical operations, Cleveland Clinic
- Merle Gordon, director, Cleveland Department of Public Health
- Danielle Price, director, community engagement, UH Cleveland Medical Center
- Craig Richmond, senior vice president and CFO, The MetroHealth System
