Back to all News ReleasesFebruary 22, 2018 (Cleveland)19 Employees Honored at 2018 Service Awards
On Thursday, Feb. 22, The Center for Health Affairs' 2018 Service Awards
Breakfast was held at the Crown Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse
Square. The ceremony honored 19 individuals for their years of
service with the organization.
Rounding out the list of recipients who were honored for three, five,
ten and 15 years of service, was Director of Facilities Chris Nortz
who received a standing ovation when he was recognized for his 35
years of dedicated service.
"As a director of facilities, there is nothing Chris can't fix," said
Interim President & CEO Phil Mazanec. "He has meant a lot to this
organization and half or more of what he does are things we can't
see. And he's always there."
Recognizing many of the organization's team members were
not able to enjoy the 2018 Service Awards ceremony in person, Mazanec recorded a special
message to off-site team members spread across the United
States. "I appreciate you
being here in spirit," he
said. "We can feel it. You
are an important cog in
the success of our organization."
Vice President of CHAMPS Oncology Toni Hare also personally
addressed her employees, who make up the bulk of the organization's off-site team.
