The Center for Health Affairs this month welcomed Jenny Oliver as manager of member communications. A senior marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in strategy development, Oliver brings with her a background in advancing business goals through:
- developing senior-level stakeholder relationships;
- delivering multichannel marketing strategies;
- providing strategic counsel; and
- building inclusive, empowered teams for high-functioning performance and operational efficiency.
As manager of member communications, Oliver will apply her skills and experience to developing and executing strategies in support of executive and organizational communication as well as working collaboratively with Ohio hospital members to drive communication initiatives.
Prior to joining the organization, Oliver worked as a marketing consultant while pursuing her Master of Nonprofit Administration at John Carroll University. Oliver has worked throughout the healthcare ecosystem, from Deloitte’s Consulting practice, to serving as director of communications and marketing at Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio, to a marketing manager at The MetroHealth System. As a hospital relations coordinator at LifeBanc, she served 12 hospitals throughout Northeast Ohio building their donation programs, and proudly led two of them to them to receive National Medals of Honor from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Oliver also serves as guest lecturer at Baldwin Wallace University and has volunteered her time with United Way of Greater Cleveland and The University of Dayton Alumni Association, and most recently coached a writing team for Power of the Pen.
