The Center Congratulates Board Director Susan Fuehrer on New Role

The Center for Health Affairs congratulates its board director, Susan Fuehrer, on being named the new president of social determinants of health and health equity at MetroHealth, one of The Center's Northeast Ohio hospital members. Fuehrer is the outgoing leader of the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System and will assume her new role July 1.

In a June 6 Crain's Cleveland Business piece, Lydia Coutré wrote about the new post for Susan Fuehrer:

"Fuehrer will lead MetroHealth's efforts to identify and address the root causes of the community's health issues and will work to eliminate barriers to care, according to a news release. She'll engage community partners to connect individuals with resources in order to keep them healthy and end health disparities."
