Healthy Northeast Ohio News: Vaccine Ambassador Resources, Regional Convening & More

Healthy Northeast Ohio, the online repository that provides hospitals and other key stakeholders with data to support regional and community health improvement activities, this month launched its Vaccine Ambassador Toolkit to support vaccination efforts within Northeast Ohio. The team also participated in several activities to showcase its platform with a presentation at the Ohio Hospital Association’s 106th Annual Meeting & Education Summit, by hosting its first-ever Regional Convening and releasing its latest Data Dispatch e-newsletter.

Healthy Northeast Ohio Presents at Annual Ohio Hospital Association Meeting
Healthy Northeast Ohio kicked off the summer with a presentation at the Ohio Hospital Association’s 106th Annual Meeting & Education Summit on Tuesday, June 8. The team showcased the capabilities of its online resource for regional population health data in Northeast Ohio during the virtual event. A recording of this presentation is available here.

Healthy Northeast Ohio Hosts First-Ever Regional Convening 
The Healthy Northeast Ohio team hosted its first-ever virtual Regional Convening on Thursday, June 24. Regional community partners from hospitals and health systems, public health, and community-based organizations were brought together for collaborative discussions about community health improvement efforts across the region. Vaccine Ambassador Toolkit Now Available
In early June, Healthy Northeast Ohio released a Vaccine Ambassador Toolkit to support the work of the Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund. The toolkit is filled with resources for vaccine ambassadors to utilize to help build confidence and trust while having effective conversations about COVID-19 vaccines. Healthy Northeast Ohio’s Data Dispatch Newsletter
The Healthy Northeast Ohio team is always looking for new ways to promote and teach the capabilities of its regional population health platform. This month, Healthy Northeast Ohio put out its second quarter Data Dispatch email newsletter, a way for Northeast Ohioans and other interested parties to stay connected on the latest news and updates surrounding Healthy Northeast Ohio. 

Key updates mentioned in this quarter’s newsletter include the addition of 36 new health behavior indicators to Healthy Northeast Ohio from Claritas, the release of a video tutorial series to improve site navigation and the launch of a new website dashboard dedicated to Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
