Healthy Northeast Ohio, the online resource for population health data, has expanded its offerings with several new resources, including COVID-19 vaccination information, a new index related to food insecurity, and data from the Centers from Disease Control and Prevention on a variety of indicators.
- On the COVID-19 Resources page, find new information about vaccine distribution, including links to the major hospital systems and local public health departments. The page also features data links and resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Ohio Department of Health.
- A new Food Insecurity Index is now available. The index is a measure of food access that is correlated with social and economic factors. An index value is given to all zip codes, census tracts and counties in the seven-county Healthy Northeast Ohio region.
- New data from the CDC PLACES Project has been added to the site, with indicators on access to healthcare services, oral health, chronic disease, substance abuse, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and others.
The
Resource Library also includes several new additions, such as on-demand recordings of the webinars provided on Lake and Summit counties, which are
new Healthy Northeast Ohio partners; links to COVID-19 information resources in a variety of languages from Global Cleveland and Foundation For A Fair Future; and a link to the Cuyahoga County Overdose Data Dashboard.
Healthy Northeast Ohio is a joint project of The Center for Health Affairs and Cuyahoga County Board of Health, funded by the
HealthComp Foundation, and designed to provide resources and strengthen collaboration in support of regional and community health improvement activities.
