The Center for Health Affairs Hosts March Supply Chain Forum

Supply Chain ForumIn late March, The Center for Health Affairs virtually convened – for the second time ever – its recently formed Supply Chain Forum to address topics surrounding manufacturing, sourcing, partnerships, supplier diversity and other supply chain issues within Northeast Ohio.

Supply chain leaders across The Center for Health Affairs’ membership discussed ways to collaboratively address these discussion points and committed to leveraging the group’s talents to increase regional efficiencies. The Supply Chain Forum is open to all members of The Center and, under the leadership of its chair, Justin Gallo, vice president of supply chain for The MetroHealth System, is driven by participants from Cleveland Clinic, Grace Hospital, Lake Health, MetroHealth, Southwest General Health Center, St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, University Hospitals and the Northeast Ohio VA Healthcare System.

Honoring The Center’s roots as a convening body for healthcare leaders across Northeast Ohio, the forum’s members also aim to improve communication with uninvolved peers to build a network to achieve larger goals down the road. For 2021, the group is focusing on domestic sourcing and strengthening the health of the regional supply chain.

The Supply Chain Forum has committed to formally meet at least once per quarter throughout 2021. Individuals interested in joining the quarterly meetings are invited to contact us.
