The Center for Health Affairs Issues Statement on Conflict in Ukraine

The Center for Health Affairs today issued the following statement on the military conflict in Ukraine:

“As we begin a new week, our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people after a weekend of conflict. As the world ponders the next steps in this ongoing crisis, we encourage all to reaffirm their commitment to the values of democracy and peace. Now is the time to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and our neighbors in Northeast Ohio who trace their roots there. Northeast Ohio is home to a large Ukrainian community, the largest of which resides south of our headquarters in Parma, Ohio. This example is one of many that shows this isn’t just a Ukrainian crisis – it’s a global one. We are committed to health of our neighbors, and look forward to the day when the world joins us in commitment to peace and humanity.”
