Healthy Northeast Ohio Releases Q1 Data Dispatch

This month, Healthy Northeast Ohio released its latest Data Dispatch, which highlights recent website updates, provides resources for grant application support, and features new regional community health reports.

Hosted by Healthy Northeast Ohio, a recent webinar included a summary of tobacco data and resources available on healthyneo.org, a review of tobacco trends in the Northeast Ohio region and an overview of local legislation to address flavored tobacco products. Watch the full webinar here.

Latest Site Updates

Continuing to provide helpful tools and information, Healthy NEO has been enhanced with a variety of new features and valuable resources. They include:

• The Food Insecurity Index - This index is part of Conduent’s SocioNeeds Index® Suite. It measures food access correlated with social and economic hardship and can be used to identify areas at highest risk for experiencing food insecurity.

• Promising Practices – The database informs professionals and community members about documented approaches to improving community health and quality of life. New promising practices have been added.

• Funding Opportunities - Explore new funding opportunities that can help you improve the health and well-being of your community. This feature includes government and foundation funding opportunities.

• Updated Data Indicators - CDC PLACES data indicators for 2020 and 2019 and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services indicators for 2020 and 2021 have been updated on healthyneo.org.
