The Center for Health Affairs is pleased to support the mission of The City Club of Cleveland and its commitment to encouraging discourse and providing impactful programming by signing on as a forum sponsor in 2023.
As a part of this new relationship, The Center will sponsor a forum to be planned in partnership with City Club leadership on an important issue affecting the health of the surrounding Cleveland community. The City Club also has invited The Center to join its Health Programming Committee to help inform this and other City Club events.
“We are thrilled to be a sponsor of the City Club and support their long tradition of free speech, debate and discussion,” said Michele Fancher, senior director of corporate communications for The Center. “This sponsorship helps us continue to fulfill our mission as an organization and is the perfect opportunity to create an impact for the communities we serve.”
Founded in 1912, The City Club of Cleveland is one of the nation’s oldest continuous independent free speech forums. Featuring an impressive list of speakers over the years — from sitting presidents to community activists — the organization prides itself on speakers answering unrehearsed and unfiltered questions directly from the audience.
“Having The Center for Health Affairs on board as a sponsor and programming partner means so much to us,” said Dan Moulthrop, CEO of The City Club of Cleveland. “Their work in the healthcare community brings a necessary voice to our Health Programming Committee.”
