The Center Names Tracy Wise to Lead Member and Community Programming Strategy

The Center for Health Affairs announces new leadership of its member and community programming, naming Tracy Wise as senior vice president of programs and strategy. With a tenure of nearly 14 years with the organization, in her new role, Wise is responsible for providing strategic leadership of The Center’s member and community programs and enhancing value to healthcare members and community partners. Overseeing The Center’s efforts to elevate health and well-being by convening members and community organizations, she will also lead the continued expansion of The Center’s healthcare membership.

“Establishing a new dedicated executive in this role for the organization propels us forward with our mission and vision to help create a healthier Northeast Ohio and is a strategic decision to deepen our connections with our membership and throughout the region,” said Brian Lane, president and CEO of The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS.

Wise joined the organization in 2010 and has served in leadership roles during her tenure here, most recently as senior vice president of business operations and administration and before that as vice president of CHAMPS Group Purchasing, a subsidiary of The Center for Health Affairs.

“Tracy's leadership has been instrumental to our organization’s success, and we look forward to the impact she will continue to make in her expanded role. She brings to the position tremendous experience and established relationships across our communities,” said Mario Franco, executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS.

Wise joins a strong programming team of experts in community health, emergency preparedness, finance and reimbursement, health policy, and substance use and behavioral health, including Jodi Mitchell, senior director of engagement and programs, and Christina Fozio, program manager for emergency preparedness, who joined the organization in December 2023.

“Throughout my career at The Center and CHAMPS I have been very fortunate to work alongside dedicated colleagues who expertly serve our members and community. I am honored to continue building on that legacy in this new role, partnering across the organization for even greater collective impact to strengthen our membership and create new connections with partners that improve the well-being of our community,” said Wise.

As the nation’s first regional hospital association and today representing 37 hospital and healthcare organizations across 10 counties in Northeast Ohio, The Center for Health Affairs aims to enhance the effectiveness of the healthcare community and the health of the communities it serves by providing expertise, resources and solutions to address the challenges currently being faced by the region’s healthcare providers.
