The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS Awarded Three Top Workplace Honors

The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS are proud to announce they have been awarded their sixth Top Workplaces honor from The Cleveland Plain Dealer, fifth consecutive Crain’s Cleveland Business Best Employers in Ohio designation, and for the first time, recognized as a top 50 workplace on Fortune’s prestigious Best Workplaces in Health Care ranking.

“These workplace awards reflect our commitment to fostering an environment where every team member feels encouraged and valued,” said The Center and CHAMPS’s Vice President of Talent & Organizational Excellence Lesley Forneris. “This level of recognition not only inspires us to continue striving for excellence but also reinforces our belief that a supportive workplace drives success for both our employees and the organization as a whole.”

“These achievements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire organization,” said President & CEO Brian Lane. “I could not be prouder of our employees and the culture we have built. Together, we are creating a workplace where creativity, positivity and encouragement truly thrive.”

“The Center and CHAMPS set a high bar when it comes to building a strong culture of engaged employees. The organization’s leadership is committed to excellence, and their track record of recognition over the last several years is a true testament to that,” said Jill Dietrich Mellon, chair of The Center for Health Affairs Board of Directors and executive director & CEO of the Veterans Affairs Northeast Ohio Healthcare System.

Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Health Care

The Center, including its affiliate CHAMPS, is ranked 50 on Fortune’s national Best Workplaces in Health Care 2024, among small to medium size companies. Fortune’s rankings are based on employee feedback, which is then analyzed to determine the extent to which this experience is shared by the full workforce. The differences in survey responses across demographic groups and roles within each organization are measured to assess both the quality and consistency of the employee experience.
