Community Impact
Through our community outreach efforts, we aim to build healthier communities across Northeast Ohio.
Being part of a community means working to make it the best it possibly can be. The Center for Health Affairs & CHAMPS Healthcare have a deep commitment to Northeast Ohio. After all, our mission is to be
a convener, influencer and innovator impacting medical, social, and economic health for the benefit of the communities we serve. Every year, our team at The Center and CHAMPS contributes their time and talents to support local organizations through volunteerism. In addition to companywide volunteer opportunities, each member of our staff is offered individual volunteer time to lend a hand in their local communities.
Charitable Giving
Through charitable giving, The Center and CHAMPS aim to enhance the health of Northeast Ohio's people and businesses. We understand the complex and interrelated factors that affect a person’s physical and mental wellbeing. Where people live, work, learn and play have a role in their health — and our contributions aim to improve each of those social determinants. Recent financial contribution recipients include:
Give Back Program
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on nonprofit organizations. In 2020, CHAMPS Group Purchasing launched its Give Back program to support Greater Cleveland nonprofits. Collaborating with these local entities, CHAMPS GPO gives a percentage of proceeds to a participating organization with every CHAMPS purchase new members make. Learn more here.
